Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and installations, with experience in both industrial and commercial settings. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial buildings.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less experienced electricians.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrical Certificate.
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial and commercial environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
