Business Development Representative

Position Overview
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the tax credits and incentives sector. This role aims to drive growth by establishing relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that leverage various tax benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and qualify new business opportunities in tax credits and incentives.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in tax credits, including R&D tax credits, 179D, and 45L.
Present solutions to clients that align with their tax incentives needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions for clients.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and follow-ups in CRM systems.
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote services and generate leads.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in finance or tax incentives.
Strong understanding of tax credits and incentives, including R&D tax credits, 179D, 45L, and cost segregation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with clients and team members.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
