Superintendent
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating and supervising all construction activities, managing subcontractors, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Manage daily operations on the construction site, including scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and labor.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure understanding and adherence to design and quality expectations.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing updates to project managers and stakeholders as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the work site to ensure quality standards are met and issues are addressed promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and correspondence.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, particularly with multi-family and mixed-use projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
