Senior Preconstruction Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead our preconstruction efforts for various commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the project lifecycle, ensuring that all phases of planning, budgeting, and scheduling are meticulously crafted to meet our client's needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preconstruction phase for multiple projects across commercial, industrial, and civil sectors.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop and manage detailed project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify cost-effective solutions and opportunities for value engineering.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
Present preconstruction proposals and project updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Mentor and guide junior preconstruction staff, fostering an environment of collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and civil construction.
Proven track record of successfully managing preconstruction processes for large-scale projects.
Bonus points for (not required): knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations, particularly in wastewater and water treatment projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in preconstruction software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
