Senior Mechanical Engineer (San Antonio, TX)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and take charge of designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of mechanical solutions for a variety of projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet all requirements
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using SolidWorks
Develop tooling designs for casting, plastic injection, and molding parts
Design and develop engine components for use in industrial engines and automotive applications
Apply GD&T to ensure products meet required specifications
Manage prototyping and testing of products to ensure they meet necessary standards
Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and technicians

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Experience in tooling design for casting, plastic injection, and molding parts
Strong knowledge of industrial engines and automotive applications
Experience with GD&T and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Ability to design products from scratch
Hands-on experience in prototyping and testing
Excellent communication and leadership skills
