Job Title: Commercial Glazier

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Glazier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caulking, fabbing, storefront/curtainwall installation, setting glass, layouts, and door hardware. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

Caulking: Apply caulking to seal joints and seams in various structures, ensuring a watertight and airtight finish.
Fabbing: Fabricate and assemble metal and glass components for storefronts, curtainwalls, and other glazing projects.
Storefront/Curtainwall Installation: Install and secure storefront and curtainwall systems, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity.
Setting Glass: Measure, cut, and install glass panes in windows, doors, and other structures with precision and care.
Layouts: Perform accurate layout work to ensure proper placement and alignment of glazing components.
Door Hardware: Install and adjust door hardware, including handles, locks, and hinges, to ensure smooth operation and security.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial glazing.
Skills:
- Proficiency in caulking, fabbing, storefront/curtainwall installation, setting glass, layouts, and door hardware.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
