Job Description:

We are seeking an attorney for our Litigation Practice Group in New Orleans, LA. The preferred candidate will have 6+ years of Construction Litigation experience. Our success is based on the expertise of our lawyers. As we expand regionally, we look to hire bright, energetic, and motivated attorneys with excellent academic credentials, legal abilities, and skills. We pride ourselves on the legal expertise and personal qualities of our attorneys. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial and appeal.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop case strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.

Job Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Louisiana State Bar.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction litigation.
  • Strong writing and research skills with excellent academic credentials (top 25% required).
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
