Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Defense Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of general civil defense litigation experience to join our dynamic Chicago team. The successful candidate will manage complex cases, provide strategic legal counsel, and uphold our firm's tradition of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a diverse caseload of civil defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to client needs.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and experts to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Illinois.
At least 3 years of experience in general civil defense litigation.
Proven ability to manage complex cases and deliver results.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong commitment to ethical practices and client confidentiality.
