Associate Attorney - Landlord / Tenant Law - Remote

$100,000 - $150,000 Salary

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Landlord and Tenant law to join our remote legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation and advice to clients in various landlord-tenant matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and effectively managing disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on landlord-tenant issues and related real estate laws.
  • Draft legal documents, including leases, notices, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings regarding landlord-tenant disputes.
  • Advise clients on their rights and obligations under landlord-tenant law.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of case activities and communications.
  • Facilitate mediation sessions and assist in dispute resolution processes.
  • Provide legal counsel on compliance issues related to property management and rental agreements.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar license in good standing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in landlord-tenant law or a related legal field.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.
  • Experience with litigation and case management.
  • Familiarity with real estate law and compliance issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
