Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in planning, executing, and finalizing commercial and industrial construction projects within the HVAC domain. This includes managing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and management of project schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Support the Project Manager in planning and execution of mechanical construction projects including HVAC and piping systems.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders.
Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project management, HVAC Sales, or mechanical construction preferred.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and design principles is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of piping systems and mechanical design.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
