The Superintendent position is a full-time role responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects. This person will be the leader of the construction team and will ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have experience in commercial glazing and stick framing.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of all construction personnel onsite
Oversee day-to-day operations of the construction site
Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to
Track and manage project budgets and schedules
Monitor quality control of work being performed
Resolve disputes between contractors
Ensure compliance with all regulations and codes
Hire, train, and evaluate staff as necessary
Provide regular progress reports to executive staff
Maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Superintendent in a construction setting
Knowledge of commercial glazing and stick framing
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Working knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong organizational and time management skills
