Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a leader who can coordinate with various stakeholders, manage teams, and implement effective project management strategies in commercial construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects from ground up, ensuring all phases are executed effectively.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to deadlines and financial goals.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including status reports and risk assessments.
- Implement project management best practices and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial construction.
- Proven experience with ground up construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
