Responsibilities and requirements:
Software Development: Design and maintain complex software applications using languages like Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and .NET, focusing on scalable systems. Not all are required but must be strong in at least a couple.
Systems Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications, identifying opportunities for improvements.
Database Management: Optimize SQL queries for data export and analysis from relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, DB2).
Business Intelligence: Use tools like Microsoft Power Platform to create dashboards and reports that aid strategic decision-making.
Systems Integration: Implement solutions to connect various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
Collaboration: Work with analysts, project managers, and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide guidance to junior developers.
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex software issues, minimizing downtime through effective solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, code comments, and user guides.
Project Leadership: Lead software development projects, managing timelines and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet objectives on schedule and within budget.
