Position Overview
The role requires a candidate with significant experience in supplier management, process analysis, and the application of automotive core tools. The individual should be capable of collaborating with internal teams to address root causes of issues and liaise effectively with suppliers. Experience with internal audits is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier management and communication.
Root cause analysis and collaboration with suppliers.
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
Conduct inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet specifications.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality assurance and compliance.
Train staff on quality control standards and procedures.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience but may also consider those with around 2+ years of experience, particularly for a Quality Tech role with potential for growth.
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Supplier management and communication.
Process analysis experience.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with flat roll steel, blanking, and stamping processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of automotive core tools.
Automotive industry experience.
ASQ certification.
