Title: Product Test Technician

Location: Onsite in Canton, OH

Compensation: $25/h-$40/h, full-time, overtime available

Who We Are: We are a manufacturer of electrical products including AC switchgear, AC circuit breakers, power distribution centers, DC circuit breakers, and traction power substations for the utility, industrial, and transit industries.

Position Overview
The Product Test Technician is responsible for conducting quality testing and verification on electrical products, ensuring they meet industry standards. This role is crucial in the quality control process and helps maintain the integrity and reliability of our power distribution equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality testing on various electrical products including circuit breakers and switchgear.
Perform service testing to validate product performance under real-world conditions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve product deficiencies.
Verify BOMs, Mechanical Drawings, Interlock Systems, Electrical Controls and identify quality defects.
Document test results and provide detailed reports for quality control analysis.
Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Assist in the development and refinement of testing protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in quality testing or field service testing of electrical equipment.
2 year technical degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and components.
Familiar with test requirements per ANSI C37.20
Experience with circuit breakers and switchgear is highly desirable.
10 hour shifts. Able/willing to travel locally, up to 20% of the time
