Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 - Depending on experience

Based in Birmingham, AL we have been in business for almost 50 years. We are currently in heavy growth mode and have seen a 6% growth in our headcount over the last 2 years. We provide solutions for foundries, steel mills, iron & steel processing, secondary aluminum smelting, cement plants, and paper mills; having the ability to deliver turn-key mechanical, piping, dust collection, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and commissioning services. Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Manager.
Oversee mechanical designs and coordinate work flow for on schedule completion
Design, layout and aid in the installation of industrial systems
Design and aid in the installation of industrial concrete foundations
Specify equipment for industrial systems
Develop drawings for industrial systems
Support structures
Ductwork
Platforms
Concrete
Travel to project site will be required for implementation
Qualifications
Material Handling equipment design - belt conveyors, bucket elevators etc.
Dust Collection system design - ductwork and supports
Water Pumping system design - pump selection, Pipe sizing and routing
Software for which experience would be a plus:
AutoCAD 2D
AutoCAD Inventor 3D
