System Administrator

Position Overview
Outstanding perm position with great people and benefits! Help mankind with your critical skills support of the design of systems, mission architecture and associated Hardware within SOA.

Required Full Scope Poly clearance.

Base DOE; Base Salary to $177K

Onsite position in Fort Meade, MD area.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems
Oversee system performance and ensure high availability
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
Utilize Puppet for configuration management and automation
Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures
Monitor system security and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Support software deployments and integration processes
Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance and reliability
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration
Experience with Kubernetes and container management
Familiarity with configuration management tools, particularly Puppet
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and its integration with Linux systems
Experience with cloud computing platforms and services
Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
