Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Engineer with expertise in Space, Software, and Hardware who has TS/SCI clearance. As the Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of projects related to space technology, software, and hardware development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and meet project deadlines. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for a motivated individual who can provide technical direction and guidance to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of projects related to space technology, software and hardware development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to the project team.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
- Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the space and software industries.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of space technology and software development processes.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
