We are looking for an experienced Estimator with strong commercial construction experience to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for renovation, construction, and other projects. This role will involve collaboration with contractors, designers, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate bids. The Estimator will also be responsible for reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop accurate cost estimates for renovation, construction, and other projects
Work closely with contractors, designers, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate bids
Review contracts and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Monitor project costs, budget constraints, and timelines
Liaise with clients and contractors to answer questions about estimates
Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare thorough estimates
Qualifications:
Experience as an Estimator in a construction or renovation environment
Proven experience with Commercial Construction estimating
Strong knowledge of building codes, permits, and applicable laws and regulations
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, estimating software, and other related applications
