Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing functional tests on a variety of standard and custom electronic products and sub-systems with or without the aid of established test procedures; corrects design or assembly problems and assures written or verbal performance specifications are achieved. This position also will configure electronic control hardware per design; execute tests; document all quality related findings and test results.
Key job tasks
1. Primary resource for inspecting and testing printed circuit board assemblies
2. Primary resource for inspecting and testing of custom electro-mechanical assemblies
3. Supporting resource for inspecting and testing cable and wire harness assemblies
4. Proper documentation of all inspect and tested components
5. Troubleshooting/failure analysis of product that has failed inspection/test
6. Assist in development of test fixtures/gigs
7. Assist in development of best practice production
8. Assist in solving electronics issues at quotation stage
9. Other duties as assigned III Job requirements
