Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Salary: $130k-$190k/year
Requirements: 3+ years experience - Health Data Management

We mainly focus on contracted services to the U.S. Military, U.S. Civilian Agencies and commercial customers. We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to work on the Health Data Management projects that support the Dept of Veteran Affairs.
What You Will Be Doing
1) Design, document, automate, implement, and maintain configuration management processes (build, release, version control, branching, and merging).
2) Take the lead in code Synchronizations across all environments and to implement automated API testing strategy using SOAPUI, Jenkins, Python, and Selenium.
3) Perform automated builds for the releases in scope.
4) Manage the software integration/system test/production builds.
5) Identify and create processes for branch automation for software releases and software deliverables.
6) Work with project teams to create build release schedules and own the packaging and build process.
7) Implement GitHub processes including versioning, tagging, branching strategies, GitHub hooks and submodules.
8) Assemble data on release metrics, oversee the source code management system, such as git, svn.
9) Maintain multiple build environments, and document steps relating to the release process.
10) Manage release communications with internal and external stakeholders.
11) Create and develop configuration management plan, mature CI/CD to incorporate automated testing in Jenkins and perform validation checks post deployments
What You Need for this Position
1) 3+ years experience with DevSecOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Depolyment Tools, Automation
2) Good understanding of Software Configuration processes, procedures, software tools, and databases
3) Strong experience with UNIX environments, SME in Git / Bash Scripts
4) Experienced with Jenkins, SSH access - automation and manual deployments, Docker, GitHub, Confluence, Kubernetes, Hira, and/or AppDynamics
