Controller
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the finance team, preparing financial reports, and developing budgets and forecasts to guide the organizations financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax reporting processes.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the companys assets.
- Lead the finance team and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments for financial planning and strategic initiatives.
- Utilize ERP systems for effective financial data management and reporting.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably as a Controller.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of tax compliance and auditing processes.
- Experience with risk management and internal control frameworks.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
