An Associate Attorney with our firm will be responsible for providing legal assistance and representation to clients in matters related to matrimonial and family law. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in divorce litigation, uncontested divorce, separation agreements, child custody, pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, surrogacy contracts, and other family law matters.
Responsibilities:
Handle a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and pre/post-nuptial agreements
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law matters
Negotiate settlements and draft agreements on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Rhode Island Bar is required
Minimum of 1 years of experience practicing family law
Knowledge and experience in matrimonial and family law, including divorce litigation, child custody, and pre/post-nuptial agreements
Attorneys from Massachusetts and Connecticut with License to practice in RI are encouraged to apply

Client Origination Bonus - 10% of Retainer Amount (e.g. $7,500 retainer = $750 bonus) |
