Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical Construction will support the project management team in the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction projects. This role involves assisting in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of mechanical construction projects
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
Help manage project budgets and monitor expenditures to align with financial objectives
Support the scheduling of project activities and resources to optimize efficiency
Contribute to the preparation and management of project documentation, including change orders and requests for information
Track submittals and ensure timely approvals to maintain project flow
Assist in quality control processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Prepare as-built documentation and assist with warranty management for completed projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in project management, preferably in mechanical construction
Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, and purchasing
Experience with cost estimation and scheduling tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools
