We are a designer and manufacturer of high performance electrical motors/pumps that is also an OEM supplier and trusted partner. Our business spans across the world with several locations and 200+ years of business across the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing and Energy sectors.
Located in Colchester, VT (near the Burlington Intl Airport)
This will be a full time role offering base + full benefits and you'll be reporting to our Design Engineering Manager.
What you will be doing:
Reporting into our Engineering Manager
Translate design specs and code requirements into the requisite product design while overseeing preparation of manufacturing procedures, drawings and analytical design reports.
Review customer purchase orders for engineering content and completeness to meet design and contract requirements.
Provide documented technical and analytical support assistance to clients for determining the suitability for operation of our equipment outside of original intended design parameters.
Write technical evaluations for customer revisions, material substitutions or acceptable deviations from design subject to review and approval by customers
Reviewing and updating legacy documents and drawings in compliance with code and customer design specs.
Serve as the contact point for drawing and sketch generation for application engineering and technical support of aftermarket procurement and subcontract activities.
Required:
5+ years working experience in engineering ideally in the field of either: industrial rotating machinery (pumps, turbines, compressors)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications
SolidWorks
Bonus (not required):
Power generation or chemical process industries
Experience utilizing ASME Code Section VIII or Section III
Engineering work in centrifugal pumps
